HeliCoil spiral grooved 45° machine taps are used for for blind holes with minimal thread allowance. Original HeliCoil taps should be used for cutting HeliCoil holding threads. This allows HeliCoil inserts to be installed seamlessly, reducing the chances of tight or jammed installation.
